Peugeot and Citroën Navigation Systems
Peugeot and Citroën are sister brands under the Stellantis group and share navigation hardware across many models. Vehicles from approximately 2012 to 2021 equipped with factory navigation typically use the SMEG (Standard) or SMEG+ system, both of which store maps on an SD card. More recent models use the newer e-CMP platform with a different update method.

Where Is the SD Card Slot?
On SMEG and SMEG+ systems, the navigation SD card slot is typically on the face of the head unit — look for a small slot on the lower edge or side of the infotainment screen panel. The card is standard SD size. On some models, the slot is behind a small cover flap.

- Updated HERE UK and European road network
- Revised speed limits including the ongoing expansion of 20mph zones
- Fixed speed camera positions for UK roads
- Updated Points of Interest: fuel stations, EV chargers, and motorway services
- New postcode and address data for recently built properties
Installation Steps
- Start the engine
- Locate the SD card slot on the SMEG head unit
- Press to eject the existing card, insert the new update card
- Confirm the installation prompt on screen
- Allow 20–45 minutes with the engine running
- Leave the card inserted permanently
